South Brunswick Schools

Under the leadership of Gary McCartney the South Brunswick Township Public Schools have become an excellent district school. If we see the break-up of schools in the South Brunswick community we will find 9 school communities. This includes 7 elementary schools in grades K-5, a two campus middle school for students in 6 through Grade 8 and a high school for students in Grades 9-12. The number of students that were enrolled in these schools at the end of 2007 and 2008 was 8000. The figure is quite big but the schools take all care that the students get the best possible education.

If I have to name a few schools the ones that quickly come to my mind are Crossroads North Middle School, Indian Fields School and Constable School. The broad objective of these schools is to build the future citizens of America who would be life-long learners and critical thinkers. The course contents of the South Brunswick Township Public Schools are as per the syllabus of New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards or the NJCCCS. The students are taught to develop creativity, social and motional growth and their intellectual capability. As a result of all these efforts undertaken by the schools, many scholars and intellectuals have passed through the hallowed corridors of these schools. The schools also promote games and extra curricular activities to help the students prepare better for the future.

In a nutshell what we see is that the South Brunswick Township Public Schools gives a broad-based holistic education to the students covering various educational and extracurricular subjects.
